Stuff the Bus Drive at CMA Spartanburg Plant

This is our 3rd year working with United Way of the Piedmont for their Stuff the Bus School Supply Drive. This charity donation drive is aimed at helping families within the Spartanburg county school district have the supplies they need to set children up for academic success! We were given a list of desired supplies and focused on collecting backpacks due to it being the most needed item. The GA sent out an email to the plant asking for donations and started collecting cash donations in mid-June all the way through the end of July.

Thanks to all the generous donations from our employees in Spartanburg, we were able to purchase around 31 backpacks in a month! All the donated backpacks have been distributed among the schools within the Spartanburg county school district and are being used by students. This year United Way of the Piedmont was able to help an average of 1,379 students. We would like to thank everyone who contributed to the Stuff the Bus School Supply Drive for helping students in our community to start the new school year with the tools they need for success!
