Spartanburg Plant hosts two Holiday Charities
The Spartanburg plant participated in two charities during the holiday season, United Way’s Thanksgiving Food drive and Salvation Army’s Angel Tree to help our community.
This is our second year partnered with United Way of the Piedmont for the Thanksgiving Food Drive. We were provided boxes to fill up with food to feed individual families for the holiday season. According to United Way of the Piedmont,1 in 3 families across Spartanburg, Cherokee and Union counties cannot afford their basic needs. We were able to contribute eight full boxes of food and with this, the families were able to worry about one less thing this holiday season.
For Christmas, we teamed up with the Salvation Army for their Angel Tree project. Toray CMA Spartanburg was assigned 12 children to help provide holiday gifts for. Our team well exceeded our goal in donations along with the gifts provided by employees. The children sponsored by Toray CMA Spartanburg are certain to feel loved this year and have a great holiday season.
A special thank you to everyone who’s donation we were able to help brighten up the holidays for families within our community. We can feel the holiday spirit here at Spartanburg plant!
