United Way Campaigns Kick Off All Across CMA This Fall Season
In November of 2023, Tacoma Plant participated in the donation pledge campaign for United Way U.S.A. The pledges can be made as both one-time donations and as recurring donations throughout the year. Thank you to the generous five employees who pledged to United Way this year.
Decatur Plant had its annual campaign for United Way of Morgan County from November 1st through November 17th. The campaign kicked off with two days of fundraiser cookouts on November 2nd and 3rd. United Way and their five partner agencies accompanied us both days to provide information about how our donations help them positively impact people in need in our community. United Way sold t-shirts with their slogan this year, “CHANGE CAN’T HAPPEN ALONE.” Thank you to everyone who participated in the United Way campaign this year. We raised money through the cookouts, t-shirt sales, and pledges from 26 members of the Decatur Team. Toray’s continued support of United Way provides tangible benefits to our community.
This year, in the spirit of giving, Spartanburg plant participated in the annual Fall Food Drive by partnering with United Way of Piedmont. Committed to making a positive impact on the community, we collected non-perishable food items for those in need. We committed to 10 boxes of food items, 2 boxes more than last year. The employees got involved by bringing in non-perishable food items on the grocery list or by making cash donations. Our Fall Food Drive exceeded all expectations thanks to our employees’ incredible generosity. With our contribution, families in Spartanburg County have the pantry essentials they need to enjoy hot meals this holiday season. We appreciate everyone who contributed to the success of the food drive. Through our philanthropic initiatives, the company remains dedicated to positively impacting and fostering a spirit of compassion and generosity in the community.
