Annual PCSC Workshop Sees Opportunities for High Schoolers
The CMA Tacoma plant participates in a workshop with the Pierce Country Skills Center’s (PCSC) Aerospace Composite students. The sessions consist of high school juniors and seniors who have chosen Aerospace Composites as their electives.
During the sessions the students are exposed to fabrication, assembly, and building of composite parts, while focusing on safety and quality. The students are always eager to show their skills and share their knowledge of what they have learned. CMA employees also volunteer at PCSC through the Governing Board while aiding in the continued development of the Aerospace program and curriculum.
Other events that CMA supports are their Plan Your Future and Mock Interviews. The continued partnership between PCSC and CMA has helped to influence and educate students as they plan to enter into the workforce.
