Decatur Plant Wraps Up Annual Safety Slogan Contest

CMA Decatur held the 2024 EHS Slogan Contest for the second year in a row. There were 26 children slogans submitted and 11 employee slogans submitted. In 2023, we had 18 children slogans submitted and 16 employee slogans. We appreciate your creativity and for taking this home to your families and promoting safety outside of work.

This is the second year in a row we have developed a committee from all areas to determine the winners. This committee is comprised of technicians, specialists, supervisors, engineers and managers. To determine the winners, each slogan entry was coded by number. Then, the committee was presented each slogan for review and categorized for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

1st place will be designed into a t-shirt for all employees and all three winning slogans are displayed on banners throughout the site. As for the children’s submissions, they resulted in 1st, 2nd and 3rd selections also, and are displayed on magnetic posters in the breakrooms.
