Team Up to Clean Up

On October 25th, 2019, over 20 CMA employees teamed up to remove trash and debris from the public street outside our Tacoma Plant. Everyone was welcome to join from either 10:00am–11:00am or from 2:00pm-3:00pm where buckets, grabber tools, gloves, and biodegradable trash bags were readily available.
Here at Toray CMA we believe in a corporate responsibility towards preserving the environment. Litter can cause vehicle accidents and injuries, smother plants, start fires and harm or kill animals. Among these effects, it can seep into groundwater and affect our water quality or event clog storm-water drains and cause flooding.

Having a trash bag in your car, utilizing a reusable water bottle, and sharing the impact with others are all ways you can help make a change in our environment and community.

It is our aim to celebrate the event annually, and we look forward to next year’s festivities. In the meantime, CMA will continue its efforts in environmental preservation and reducing the negative effect of litter.
