Barrels of Love Rolls in at Decatur Plant

On March 1st, CMA Decatur plant participated in the 12th Annual Barrels of Love, a non-perishable food drive sponsored by Morgan County Industrials. Decatur plant is a proud member since its inception of the event.

Combined with the community approximately 28,000 non-perishable food items were collected for a good cause to help those in need. Each year our local food banks; Committee on Church Cooperation (CCC) and Salvation Army are running low especially after the holidays and this Barrels of Love program helps to restock the food. Backpack Programs for the School Systems (Morgan County Schools and Decatur City Schools) supporting the students with meals during spring break.

We would like to give a special thanks to volunteer students from Danville High School and Albert P. Brewer High School for helping unload and sort all the generous donations. Thank you to everyone who contributed to this wonderful event!
