CMA Decatur Plant Earns Lost Time Accident Free Year 2023 Award

We are excited to announce that CMA Decatur, Alabama was able to achieve no lost time accidents in 2023, which was recognized by our Worker’s Compensation Provider Employer’s Claim Management Inc.

This great award helps reduce overall cost for worker’s compensation costs for CMA. We could not achieve this award if it were not for our employees at the site that put safety first and continue to help grow our safety culture. We have a lot of activities at the site, and to be able to work safely is challenging and rewarding at the same time.

CMA recently attend a local workshop for workers compensation in Huntsville, Alabama to ensure that CMA Decatur has all of the latest information for our employees. CMA is looking forward to another opportunity to win another award in 2025 for CY2024. Here in Decatur, we also like to communicate the phrase, “take safety home with you,” so even though this award is for the site, we also encourage employees to work safe at home.
