Decatur Plant holds Safety Slogan Contest

Thank you to all the 16 CMA Decatur team members who participated in the 2023 EHS Slogan Contest. Additionally, employees’ children and grandchildren submitted a total of 18 slogans. We thank you, not only for your creativity, but for taking this home to your families and promoting safety outside of work.

For this year’s contest a committee was developed to determine the winners. This committee was comprised of shift employees and management to promote involvement. To determine the winners, the committee was presented each slogan for review. The slogans were then discussed collectively, then winners selected.

This year’s contest resulted in 1st, 2nd and 3rd selections for employees, and three honorable mentions. This year, the plant will have a safety mascot, which will be the Safetysaurus Rex.
