In Decatur, AL, our Technical Center has a team of engineers and specialists ready to apply our expertise and carbon fiber sample fabrication and testing/analysis capabilities to help you get the most of TORAYCA^™ carbon fiber. Whether you need analysis of your composite samples to check the quality of the composite microstructure, guidance on processing the fiber, or want to investigate a mechanical test matrix, we are here to help.

Capabilities include:

• Material characterization and analysis, including thermal analysis, rheology, and optical and scanning electron microscopy
• Fiber characterization and analysis, including after-treatment, wettability, physical properties, fiber path processing properties, and single-fiber tests for fiber/resin adhesion

In Tacoma, WA, we have a Technical Service team dedicated to supporting our prepreg products, along with a Composite Materials Research Laboratory (CMRL). The Technical Service team has expertise in composites processes, including automation like AFP and ATL as well as out-of-autoclave (OOA) and press molding, proper application of our prepreg, sample analysis, and testing and how it relates to qualification/certification and quality assurance. All Toray aerospace resins (2510, 2511, 3900, 3960) are in the Convergent RAVEN database, and we offer cure profile support along with full process engineering support to help you optimize your use of our prepreg products.
