Spring Street Entry Cleaning Day

On June 18th, 2021, 14 CMA employees teamed up to remove trash and debris from the public street outside our Tacoma Plant. Everyone was welcome to join between 11am-1pm where buckets, grabber tools, gloves, and biodegradable trash bags were readily available. Due to the diligent work of our volunteers and the continued efforts of our employees, cleaning day ended one hour early as the area was spotless!

At CMA we believe in a corporate responsibility towards preserving the environment. Litter can cause vehicle accidents and injuries, smother plants, start fires and harm or kill animals. Among these effects, it can seep into groundwater and affect our water quality or event clog storm-water drains and cause flooding.

Having a trash bag in your car, utilizing a reusable water bottle, and sharing the impact with others are all ways you can help make a change in our environment and community. CMA will continue its efforts in environmental preservation and reducing the negative effect of litter.
