Sustainability Milestone at CMA Tacoma

Until recently Toray CMA-TA operated under a Major Source Air Permit. A review of our emissions history in December of 2021 revealed that our work to reduce emissions, yielded annual emissions coming in below the 100-ton threshold for Volatile Organic Compounds.

In February of 2022, Toray CMA-TA applied for a Synthetic Minor Permit and worked closely with Puget Sound Clean Air Agency during the application process.

We are proud to announce that in July of 2022 Toray CMA-TA was granted an order of approval for emissions reduction status, which reinforces our corporate commitment to continuously work toward environmental preservation.
