Tacoma Plant Benefits and Wellness Fair of 2025

On October 2nd and 3rd, Tacoma Plant’s HR Department hosted the annual Health and Wellness Fair, SEAS THE DAY. The event welcomed approximately 20 vendors, ranging from our benefits providers, such as Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island and Delta Dental, to local businesses, including gyms, the Humane Society, and United Way. Employees attended to ask questions and learn more about their current or available benefits, enjoy free swag, enter to win vendor prizes, and some even enjoyed a free massage. With October marking the start of cold and flu season, employees were also able to receive their seasonal flu shot. The Safety and Environmental team ran a table to test employees’ safety knowledge, while the HR department offered a fun photo opportunity with a tropical island flair and provided information for any questions employees might have. Overall, the Health and Wellness Fair was a great success, providing employees with valuable resources, a chance to connect with local businesses. We look forward to hosting more events like this in the future to support the well-being of our employees.
