Tacoma Plant’s Gifts for the Children of Bethel School District

The Tacoma plant recently concluded the seasonal event, the “Giving Tree” Campaign. In partnership with the Bethel School District, we received 68 tags this year from 10 different schools, each tag listing the needs and wishes of children in need. Compared to last year, the number of children we were asked to sponsor increased by 20. Thanks to the generosity of our employees, every item on each of the 68 tags was fulfilled and this event was a success, driven by their charitable contributions. Once again, thank you to the many employees at the Tacoma plant who donated over 300 gifts to 68 children. With their support, we were able to provide these children a more joyous holiday season.             

Decatur Plant’s Gifts for F.A.C.E.S. Sponsored Children

Each year, the Decatur plant employees partner with the local agency F.A.C.E.S. (Families and Children Experiencing Separation). This year, employees made eight children’s Christmas wishes come true, providing toys and clothing from head to toe. For larger wishes, the team pooled their funds to prepare special gifts such as three bicycles, two laptops, a Nintendo Switch, an Apple Watch, and Nike Air Force 1 shoes, among others. Additional cash donations were made by employees to support additional children. We would like to thank everyone who participated to make this Christmas special for these children and hope they had a wonderful Christmas morning.

Spartanburg Plant’s Donations to the Angel Tree Sponsored Children

The Spartanburg plant once again participated in the Angel Tree program, marking our third year partnering with The Salvation Army of Spartanburg. Not only did our employees fulfill all the tags, but our community also stepped up and collected every available list from the Spartanburg Angel Tree program this year. Through the generosity and donations of everyone involved, we were able to fulfill all the wishes and needs on each of the 16 tags. Thank you to our Spartanburg employees for their continued support and for giving back to our community. We look forward to partnering with the Salvation Army again next year!
